Blood Cancer United Light the Night, DMV 2025

On October 18th, our team in the DMV joined hundreds of participants on the National Mall for Light the Night, a one-mile walk illuminated by lanterns to honor, celebrate, and remember those impacted by blood cancer. The evening was inspiring and featured music, fireworks and moving tributes to survivors and loved ones lost.

Hosted by Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society), Light the Night raises awareness and critical funding for lifesaving research, advocacy and patient services. Since its inception, the event has helped raise more than $1 billion to fight blood cancers.
