PF CARES Weekend 2025
Pedal to the Metal: Accelerating Life-Changing Therapies
CARES Weekend is an epic, annual all-hands company tradition aimed to deliver on our commitment to provide unique experiences for our team members through prioritizing professional development, philanthropic, and team building opportunities.
This year, the Project Farma team came together in Raleigh, NC for a weekend full of networking, collaboration, and celebration. To kickstart the weekend, our team engaged in an interactive icebreaker challenge for the chance to win $500 towards a charity of their choice. Next, we were joined by leaders within our organization to learn more about how we are working together to Accelerate Life-Changing Therapies.
For the fourth CARES Weekend in a row, our team facilitated our Patient Focused Panel, where we heard from John Khoury (Founder, Project Farma), Tiffany J. Brown, PhD (CEO, Avobis Bio), Darren Dasburg (CEO, Clarus Biologics), Llewellyn Accam (Director, CAPEX, ThermoFischer), and Adam Barlow (SVP, Project Farma) on the importance of patient-centricity in drug development and recognize why partnerships are crucial to advancing medicines and saving patient lives. We closed out day one with a memorable dinner at Tin Roof where we had live music, dinner, and networking.
The second day of CARES Weekend began with Technical Track Rotations offering our team an opportunity to elect specific, technical courses led by Project Farma SMEs. To close out the second day of CARES Weekend, our team assembled over 20 Prosthetic Hands for the Prosthetic Hand Project.
We’re thankful to have the opportunity to come together in-person for a weekend dedicated to investing in our team!
